Microsoft has announced it is taking over Activision Blizzard, a major American-based game development company.

All gaming games from Activision will be available as part of Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.

In what is sure to be the largest acquisition to ever happen in gaming, Microsoft has confirmed that it will buy Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion. To make the staggering amount more understandable, consider that the deal will be in the range of five lakhs and twelve thousand rupees. five lakh 12 thousands of crores Indian currency.

The cash-only deal was made public through Microsoft today, and following that the gaming division of Microsoft Xbox as well as Activision have both revealed plans to collaborate on future games. In its announcement, Microsoft states that it will be “the world’s third-largest gaming company by revenue” when the deal closes. It will be right just behind Tencent as well as Sony.
